Austin pics

Out of Bounds has put up a bunch of great pics of us.

Oh, and the rest of the festival. Those are good pics, too.

MORE Ash Wednesday 10/5 and 10/19

It's Wednesday. But you go out on Fridays. But getting home by 9 means you didn't go out. Doesn't qualify. Spend no money? Also not going out. So if you do something Wednesday that gets you home by 9 and is free, then technically you've enjoyed your evening WITHOUT GOING OUT! See? See?

Make the best of humpday. You show Friday what you think of it! You go to Ash Wednesday tomorrow and tell Friday to eat it. Raw! Gunshow will get doing their thing, so check it out.

WEDNESDAY 10/5 and 10/19
Ash Wednesday
The Parkside Lounge
317 East Houston St. (Take the F/V to 2nd Avenue)
Wednesday October 5th and 19th, 7-9pm
Admission is FREE

FUCKING FREE!!

Ash Wednesday 9/7 - FREE SHOW

Eval Cathedral hosts a free night of comedy every Wednesday night at Parkside Lounge on Houston Street, and we’ve been invited to perform September 7th! Take this opportunity after your job lets you off the leash to swing by this show for free. Sometimes we make ourselves do fun things, you know? If you want to go home and watch that Netflix DVD in order to get the value, you’ll still have time AFTER the show, because it will be done before 9pm. How’s THAT for a deal? Huh? You up for adventure? Well? I’m waiting….

Ash Wednesday
The Parkside Lounge
317 East Houston St. (Take the F/V to 2nd Avenue)
Wednesday September 7th, 7-9pm

Scallywags

Gunshow opens for sketch group The Scallywags. We’ll be joined by special guest, Nate Starkey. It would be a crime against humanity not to see this show. Just ask Slobodan Milosevich.

The Dan Goldstein Tribute Show

image: Goldstein as the devil.

A send-off for our beloved director! Join us for an evening of Goldstein-directed improv and partying as Gunshow, Jonly Bonly, Stockholm Syndrome and Stomping Ground join forces to salute and mildly embarass the man who inspired, educated and, uh, inspired us. He’s going to England, folks — practically Neverneverland. Say goodbye and get him silly drunk before he’s lost to the Lost Boys.

In February of this year, Gunshow presented COLOR IT CLEAN, a sketch show almost a year in the making. Then they looked at it and said, “we can get this fucker down to 30 minutes.” So. Gunshow is proud to bring to the People’s Improv Theater COLOR IT CLEAN: REDUX: thirty minutes of well-crafted sketch comedy tightened, trimmed and shined to perfection, just like your Brazilian bikini wax at a fraction of the cost.
